We have some pretty cool choices for your floor cleaning as well! We can wax, strip, or even shampoo your floors. To strip your floors, we start by removing the dirt with a cotton brush. After that, we mop the floors to maximize results. At that point we apply the stripping agent and use a commercial level buffer. To finish everything off we towel dry the floors and apply 3-4 coats of wax to leave your floor with a brilliant shine!

Have some carpet? We have a specialized service for that too! Our process starts by vacuuming all the carpets in your home or office. Next we will spot clean some of the most needed areas before applying the shampoo. Lastly, we will steam clean your carpets so well, they will look better than brand new! Our team strongly recommends you let the carpets dry for at least 2-4 hours to achieve the full effect.

Mark Moore
Owner & CEO

Our Owner, Mr. Mark Moore has been in the commercial real estate industry for over 20 years working as a commercial investor, real estate developer, and consultant. In 2006, Mr. Moore established Moore Enterprises, Inc., with the goal of renovating homes within poverty stricken neighborhoods to provide pristine and affordable low income housing. This success led to the creation of A Step Above Clean in 2008, to focus on the commercial cleaning of these spaces. From that time until now Mr. Moore has worked hard to establish A Step Above Clean as the premier janitorial service for small to mid-size facilities within the mid-eastern region.  

Mr. Moore currently holds a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland and is a 10 year veteran of the United States Air Force. ​

Andrea Moore
Director of Sales

Ms. Andrea Moore has been a community association manager and commercial real estate accountant for the past 10 years.  Ms. Moore holds an MBA and Master's of Contracts and Purchasing Management from the University of Maryland.  Ms. Moore is a member of the AICPA and has previously held her CMCA and AMS designations from the Community Association Institute.   

Ms. Moore currently serves as the Director of Sales for the organization and provides financial oversight and accounting direction to the ASAC financial department. 

Our headquarters is based in Upper Marlboro, MD, however, our extensive network of associates are strategically located throughout the area, and are available for projects from Southern Virginia to Northern Baltimore.  ​
